I’ve experienced careers from more than one angle.
My own path wasn’t linear, i’m a graduate who used entry level roles to build my career and went on to lead across people development, early careers and further education.
Experience that has given me a perspective that sits across the whole journey, from the young person trying to find their way in, to the people and organisations responsible for helping them succeed.
Ascendance exists because I believe where you start shouldn’t determine how far you can go.
And when people aren’t thriving, we need to look beyond the individual to understand what’s really going on and address the root causes.
Born and raised in inner city Nottingham, I didn’t start with wealth, connections or a clear route into the corporate world..
